Using Print-On-Demand to deliver targetted messages while actually reducing costs.

The Situation:

Copy from the data sheet is difficult to understand and does not follow the format.

The Challenge:

Create an ongoing program that could mine their employee database for anniversary dates and provide recognition awards at 1, 3, 5 years and beyond. The system will also need to be able to generate e-mails alerting the employee of the milestone and provide hyperlinks to a website for gift selection. After a selection is made from the site, the program will need to create a congratulatory certificate. Then bring the collateral and award together, package them for presentation and then accomplish the shipment. And get the solution in place within 45-60 days!

The Solution:

Working closely with the client, we executed a scope of work that captured their vision and aligned it with our wide range of fulfillment capabilities. We created an ordering site supported by their employee database. The site, which generates outbound e-mail and written communications with employees based upon their location, also generates a follow-up if there is no response. After the associate enters the site, they review their award options and select their preferred item. The process moves forward transparent to the intended recipient. Packaging is prepared, a certificate of award is printed and mounted into a plaque, the award is merged with the collateral and the shipment fulfilled.
