Getting the message out: effective distribution of marketing messages

The Situation:

LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. a leading, developer of innovative, technology-based learning products, has a need to distribute both event and marketing printed & promotional products to their 100+ staff throughout the United States. The incumbent supplier provided an on-line requisitioning process that was slow, inaccurate, cumbersome and unreliable.

The Challenge:

Develop a user-friendly, web-based requisitioning process that allows decentralized users to order and receive products in a timely manner. As well, their ability to track shipments, review history and receive summary usage information is essential.

The Solution:

Applied Graphics developed a state-of-the-art web-based collateral management solution that efficiently allows many users to requisition products, view inventory and receive tracking information in "real-time" basis. This solution provides flexibility, password protection, electronic low balance notification, electronic confirmation and electronic shipment tracking. All aspects of this program are fully integrated with an Applied Graphic's operated distribution center. This center manages and distributes the requested products, creates electronic and paper summary reporting documents and details LeapFrogs's monthly activity.

The Result:

Overall, LeapFrog has been able to reduce its costs across the board thanks to Applied Graphics web-based print management solution. Product costs have been reduced through effective inventory management processes. Personnel costs on a corporate and branch level have been reduced through this process.
